My name is Dariush

I began PropelConnect in 2025. After having over 20 years experience in music, as well as exploring comedy and acting, I decided to coach and advise other creatives that are seeking to find ways to improve their skills and possibilities of success. Having navigated the rollercoaster journey of an independent artist, I personally have first-hand experience with the struggles of hitting walls, feeling stuck, and thoughts of giving up. However, I pushed through, and by doing this, I magically achieved multiple radio plays of several of my songs on BBC Music Introducing, as well as being interviewed about myself and my musical journey. This breakthrough deeply informed my holistic approach.

The experience of being recognised by BBC Music Introducing wasn’t just a career highlight; it was a testament to the power of authentic voice and consistent effort – principles I now help my clients cultivate. I have also been fortunate to have opened for platinum selling artists in the early stages of my musical pursuits, learning from top tier artists. Not only am I a musician, but I’ve also made transformations later in life, stepping into other domains such as comedy and acting; I believe that nothing is too late unless you have courage and determination to learn.

As a British Iranian artist, I empathise and profoundly appreciate the unique challenges and triumphs faced by an artist who is from a varied cultural background, especially those in the diaspora. This multi-cultural background has equipped me with a nuanced understanding of identity, cultural influences, and belonging that often shape the creative process, allowing me to connect deeply with artists from diverse ethnic backgrounds.

My greatest strength is inspiring, motivating, and encouraging others using my intuition and energy. I help professionals, as well as those transitioning into pursuing a serious creative entrepreneurial career.
