Why Me?
I understand that it's difficult to generate ideas from nothing, especially when you're looking at a blank page and have no idea where to start. There are times when inspiration just won't strike. Nevertheless, I'm here to assist you!Because of my more than 20 years' experience in writing music and getting it recorded and released, I am able to help you deal with the obstacles you encounter, including creative blocks, performance anxiety, and self-doubt. These problems prevent you from producing your best work and from getting it out there so that other people can hear and see it.Through one-to-one coaching involving brainstorming, I can help you eliminate your fears and encourage and inspire you to carry out your artistic work. In our accountability sessions, I will check in with you to ensure that you're keeping up with the creative process so that you meet the deadlines and produce the work.Why me?Alongside my BA (Hons) in Music Industry Management and Popular Music and over 20 years' experience writing, recording, and performing music, I've struggled with doubt as a musician after taking a long break from writing. As a result I have learned how to overcome procrastination, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome to produce my best work, which eventually saw me being featured on BBC Music Introducing several times.The lesson from this experience is that I now know not to give up, since I have been in the same difficult situations of experiencing creative blocks and uncertainty about whether I would ever be able to get back on stage. Because I understand these difficulties so deeply, I can guide you through the process so that you can go from having nothing to producing something—all without any pressure, judgement or harsh criticism—and you'll receive helpful and constructive advice that will inspire and motivate you to go the extra mile and keep on going!
